About Us

We exist to serve local churches in Southern Africa as they train, qualify, send out, and support their missionaries.

WHO WE ARE

Biblical Ministries Worldwide South Africa, established in 2023, is dedicated to planting healthy churches everywhere through compassion ministry, evangelism, discipleship, and leadership development.

For decades, South Africa has been a missionary-receiving country. Now, it is our turn to step up and begin sending out our own servants of the Lord to plant new churches in our townships, suburbs, rural areas, across national boundaries to other African countries, and across the seas to other lands where the gospel is unknown.

Inspired by and drawing on the experience of our sister organisation, Biblical Ministries Worldwide-USA, we are registered as a public benefit organisation (registration number 298-661 NPO), have a South African Board of Directors comprised of church and business leaders, and are in process of applying for Section 18 tax exemption with SARS to allow interested Christians and Christian-run businesses to make tax-deductible donations.

Our mission is to advance the gospel and the kingdom of Jesus Christ in South Africa and abroad by supporting local churches and their missionaries as they positively impact communities through gospel-driven charitable and educational activities, and plant and nurture healthy congregations and ministries. To accomplish this, we also seek to network with like-minded churches, schools, organisations, and innovators.

To understand the biblical basis for missions and the basic qualifications for a cross-cultural missionary.

Train and Equip

We train missionaries for evangelism, discipleship, leadership training and church planting in a cross-cultural or foreign context

Qualify and Approve

We recommend missionaries and their future ministry to churches for prayer and financial support.

Support and Accountability

We provide an important connection between the missionary on the field and their sending church.
